As early as June 2020, the final coordination in the 2K group of companies about the change of name from TDK Maschinenbau GmbH to 2K Maschinenbau GmbH was made. The name change is entered in the commercial register and is therefore legally effective with immediate effect.
TDK Maschinenbau, a company of the 2K group of companies, has been accompanying its customers in the manufacturing industry as a manufacturer of deburring machines since 2001. What was then a small company has become a medium-sized company. The focus has always been on changing market requirements and customer needs. The change of name to 2K Maschinenbau on July 1, 2020 and the expansion of the service portfolio are intended to underline the expanded possibilities of the company with immediate effect.
One of the company’s particular strengths was and is to constantly adapt to the conditions of the changing market. A lot has happened from the classic mechanical engineering company to today’s service company in mechanical engineering. “We are always innovating, trying things out and acquiring specialist knowledge,” says Managing Director Michael Krause. “We are investing a lot, continuously expanding our range and thereby creating a greater variety of products. We now offer much more than just a machine, which is why a change of name was an important decision. ”
The expanded product portfolio now comprises three business areas. In addition to the tried and tested PINFLOW deburring technology, the service areas of automation technology and CE-compliant safety technology will in future be offered under the umbrella of 2K Maschinenbau. Burr-free and clean components as required are a basic requirement in all industries today. Inventiveness and individual product adaptations create innovations, services round off the offer. “For us, the focus is on the customer. In addition to recurring orders, we also take on customer challenges and develop automated solutions. Often new solutions are implemented in the process ”, adds Stefan Ihms, Head of Automation. Years of know-how paired with individual advice and solution development make it possible.
2K Maschinenbau will continue to keep an eye on trends, technologies and the market in the future and adapt to requirements and customer wishes. The specialists from Neumünster will continue to support topics such as product development, the environment, sustainability and innovations.
